Allie Duffy is an interventionist who has been teaching in Central Texas for the past 10 years. She has taught first grade and second grade as a classroom teacher, and currently divides her day between accelerating instruction for students who need extra support and supporting teachers. Allie believes in educating the whole child—socially, emotionally and academically, and is also passionate about developing and supporting teachers. Allie received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Texas at Austin. In 2018, she was the district and Region 13 Elementary Teacher of the Year. She was also the recipient of the H-E-B Rising Star award. In her free time, Allie enjoys volunteering with Austin’s Mobile Loaves & Fishes.
